Have you ever wondered what it would be like to read the Bible cover-to-cover? There are a number of believers out there who make it a habit to read God’s Word daily. However, there are also many Christians who struggle to find the time and motivation to get into God’s Word. The year 2025 will, no doubt, bring many personal challenges. Wouldn’t it be great to start (or end) each day with the wisdom and power of God’s Word to help you navigate the situations that come your way? This year at First Baptist Church, as part of our continued discipleship initiative, we are embarking on a monumental adventure to have every church member reading, studying, and praying through God’s Word, TOGETHER, EVERY DAY!
To do this we have tapped into some very well-known, and powerful, resources with the Youversion Bible App and The Bible Recap App. The idea is that every member would be reading the same three to four chapters of the Bible on the same day.
This will accomplish a few goals:
This will be no small feat, but will be an amazing experience for the individuals in our church, as well as, the church body as a whole. The beautiful part of these programs is that they can be as simple or as interactive as you prefer. If you would like to just have a daily reading plan to keep you on track it will be provided with this packet. However, if you would like to dive into a deeper study/conversation of what you’ve read, the resources are very readily available.

- Watch a daily video that recaps and explains what you’ve just read each day.
