Welcome! This is the first step to HLT 2023 (Holy Land Tour)
Below you will find a form that will provide us with the initial information needed to start the sign-up process. We can take as many individuals from our church (and friends) that we would like. You will also find at the bottom of the page a somewhat concise breakdown of the costs for this trip. Please keep in mind that airfare, hotels, site costs etc. are an ever-changing variable. This projected cost is always subject to change (both up and down) but should serve as a relatively accurate starting point.

Cost Breakdown (Approximate)
Airfare: This is a very difficult item to lock in on a price. At this point (July) the average cost of a round-trip ticket from Kansas City airport to Tel-
Aviv and back is approximately $1,200. We will attempt to do a group-rate which may or may not increase or decrease the overall cost of
the tickets. In knowing this we are projecting a little higher (to be safe) at around $1,400 round trip. Either way, Pastor Jason will be
coordinating your airfare either as a group, or individually.
KingSons Travel Group: This is the tour group we will be using throughout our time in Israel. They will meet us at the airport in Tel-Aviv and be
at our side the entire time we are in Israel. The cost for this portion of the trip will be $2,110 and will cover: tour bus, hotels, breakfast,
supper, and Holy Land site fees. This basically covers everything but lunches (we will eat at various stops for lunch along the route of our
particular day.) *** NOTE: This $2,110 figure is based upon a 20-person trip. If our number of tour members is higher than 25 the cost
will be a little lower, likewise, if our number of tour members is below 20 the cost could be a little higher.***
Tips: This is a fairly concrete number as it is based on each person individually. Meaning, it is customary to include in our travels a tip for the tour
guide and bus driver (each person, each day, by each of us.) After doing some research, the recommended/customary tip is $7 per
person per day for the tour guide and $5 per person per day for the bus driver. You would also need to include a tip for the luggage
handlers at each hotel (3 hotels) of $1 per both loading and unloading. In all, this comes to approximately $126. We are rounding this
number up to $140 to account for any extra tips needing generated that may be unseen at the time. We will discuss the best way to
handle the dispensing of the tips as our trip approaches but please have this portion in cash to make things easier.
Other Fees Not Listed: With COVID-19 still being an issue it has been recommend that we make sure our vaccinations are up to date as there
may be a possibility of costs related to testing and/or other expenses. This will be explained in more detail as those details are made
known to us. I would not foresee this being a major cost.
