We need VOLUNTEERS to help with Upward Basketball this coming January-April. Prayer warriors are essential as are people to be at the building on Monday and Thursday nights to welcome teams for practice and on Saturdays to help manage the regular games. See Pastor Jason, Pastor Dan, Mark Alexander, or Marcell Turner if you want to help. It takes no special skills, just a heart to SERVE!
Most of the job is just being friendly and caring. We have concessions to cover (not a fund raiser), greeters, scorekeepers, announcers, referees, safety/security, and cleanup persons for the Saturday game days plus 1 person per night to open the church, hang around, and then lock up on Monday and Thursdays for practices. Saturday times are from 7:30-12:30 (those who volunteer for cleanup time will come in at 11:30 and work till done (1:00 or so at the latest). Monday and Thursday practice coverage will be from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. Exact schedules will be forthcoming. Thanks for helping out!
